Greetings. :thumbs: I see that DH has gone on the whole, "what's my A1C, what's my A1C," OCD trip. :lol: I assume that he's diabetic or do they know for sure yet? What is his fasting glucose level and what is his post prandial (after eating) blood sugar level) and what is his pre prandial (before eating) sugar level? I don't mean to pry, I'm just a bit curious.

Its not very bad.. His fasting glucose level is around 120-130 and it goes up 130-140 after eating.. But then again, he measures everything he eats and takes metformin once a day. I guess we will know for sure once we go back to the endocrinologist.

Holy biguanides, DH is diabetic, but he's borderline. Exercise and diet management will help but the metformin is the key for now. I assume DH isn't a heavy set fellow, weight loss really helps in those cases, even if he's 20lbs. over, a bit of fat loss will help. Is he on extended release or 500mg straight up? I assume that they've checked his A1C (glycated hemoglobin), any idea what it is?

Doctor's appt. didn't go so well, I'm on modified bedrest because the amniotic fluid is low again. I have to go back on Friday and plan on drinking a few gallons of water a day so it goes back up & I don't have to be on bedrest :blush:

And I still haven't gotten those girlscout cookies.

He is pretty skinny all over except he has got a really broad shoulders & chest and a belly.. And no one in his family is diabetic. I am sure he can get it down once he starts working out (after his incision heals).

The thing is, I already drink a lot of water. Now instead of having to pee every 5 minutes it's going to be every 2. I should just move my desk and PC into the bathroom it would save me a hell of a lot of time.
