My husband and I had dinner with his childhood friend. They were talking about health gadgets and all. I suddenly said, "Well, even if different kinds of health products would be made and used, people would still die if earthquakes decide to visit their area."

The two of them became so silent. :help:His friend commented, "We do something for things that can be prevented such as an individual's health."

did you politely remind them ... we also construct buildings that can take quite a good earth shaking too

that is .. before you grabbed the baseball bat :P

Just a few more weeks. I am excited for a good romp in the hay and to have my gutters cleaned,, yes. Wait, that didn't sound the way it was meant to sound. :blush:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

What I actually meant was that it would have great if there's an instrument that could detect and predict earthquakes. Isn't it true anyway that earthquakes don't care whether people are healthy or sickly? :P Still, I had my share of being tactless. I could've said it better.
