My husband and I watched "The Princess Bride" last week in our living room. It looked so clear that I thought the film was made only a few years ago. I have just found out today that film was actually released in 1987, the year when I was born!

No wonder why I kept following Inigo Montoya. He seemed very familiar. I learned today that Inigo Montoya is Mandy Patinkin and I liked him so much back when I was still watching "Criminal Minds."

Moreover, I've just seen the "We Are the World" remake recently. Not so impressive except that the sexy Pussycatdoll Nicole Scherzinger is there and also Enrique Iglesias.

I love the Princess Bride. I feel old now however, as I was born quite a few years before it came out. ;)

Old is relative. :D

When I see pics of my then high school students now that they are in 2nd year college, I feel old, too.

The Princess Bride is one of my all time favorite movies AND books! I don't feel old, even though I was also born quite a few years before that movie came out, because I know I've just gotten better with age

I remember going to see Princess Bride in the theater back in 1987. Time sure has flown.

If you like Mandy Patinkin, rent a copy of Alien Nation, the movie. It was made a year after Princess Bride and he gave another fine performance. :)

At least I don't carry a purse.

Does Scandal carry a European shoulder bag?

I remember seeing Peter Falk (Colombo) as the grandfather back then and being surprised he was still around. Apparently, he's still alive...but he's got to be way up there in age.

I'll do that. Thanks, Steve.

My husband has been encouraging me to watch Star Trek with him [the original series] every night. No way! He told me he grew up watching it.
