Hi all,

I just received emails and texts from the USCIS saying that they have officially received my application and they present me with case numbers which start with MSC. Well, I know that I have sent in 3 G-1145 forms for each I-485, I-765 and I-131. They have sent me 3 different receipt/case numbers.

Is this the norm? Or do you only get 1 case number?? I'm kinda confused?!

I'll be waiting for the NOA in the next week. Would I be getting 3 NOAs?!

Thank you!

Cheers,

LC

You get 1 NOA for each form you sent in, so you will get 3 NOAs.

Oh really? I think there's a bit of difference between different people here? Well, I guess I will check my mail box next week to see how many there are! :) But I'm glad it's not a mistake to have 3 case numbers!

Thank you!

Your AP, EAD, and AOS are processed separately that's why you have three different case numbers, three e-mails, and three NOAs. Notice that those who got approved, most of them get their EAD first, others have their AP ahead, and so on.

Ah I get what you mean now! So I should be able to check all the 3 cases differently as they have different processing times! Thank you for alleviating me from my confused state :)

3 case numbers on 3 different things.

Good Luck with tracking it all ! ;)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
