Hi,

As mentioned in the instruction part, all document for AOS,EAD and AP are to be sent to Chicago address.

My question is how can we check the processing time? Which service center to check?

May 2nd - Sent I-129F to Vermont

May 13th - NOA1

June 23rd - recieved RFE (IMBRA)

June 24th - Sent back RFE

June 27th - 7 touches

June 30th - touched

July 3rd - touched

July 10th - NOA2 notice via email

July 14th - NOA2 via snail mail

July 14th - petition mailed thru DHL to Asuncion, PY

Week of July 17th - Embassy received my petition

July 24th - beneficiary receives packet 3

July 27th - medical exam

Aug 7th - interview - approved :)

Aug 11th - picked up his visa

Aug 21st - purchased plane ticket!

Aug 30th - reunion day :)

I looked at the Chicago center and I don't see processing times for those but if you go to immigration timelines (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php) it will show some AOS statistics for Chicago. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

May 2nd - Sent I-129F to Vermont

Which Service Center to choose? THe one I submitted for K1 to?

Not necessarily. When you get the NOA for your submissions you will be able to tell which service center it went to by the 3 letters at the beginning of your "application number." However, even if you know, I would caution you that the processing times online are not always accurate...sometimes not even close. We just got the interview appointment notice on Friday, well ahead of the processing times that are listed online for the Missouri Service Center.

06/30/2006 - I-485, I-765 and I-131 sent to Chicago (via USPS Priority mail) (DAY 1)

07/02/2006 - package received in Chicago (delivery confirmed via USPS)

07/06/2006 - NOA 1 (DAY 7)

07/12/2006 - biometric appointment notice (DAY 13)

07/14/2006 - received biometric appointment notice via mail

07/25/2006 - interview notice (DAY 26)

07/26/2006 - biometrics taken (DAY 27)

07/28/2006 - received interview notice via mail

09/07/2006 - I-485 interview...APPROVED!!!...passport stamped (DAY 70)

09/12/2006 - I-131 approved (DAY 75)

09/13/2006 - received welcome letter via mail

09/15/2006 - I-765 approved (DAY 78)

09/16/2006 - received AP via mail

09/18/2006 - received conditional green card via mail

09/21/2006 - received EAD via mail

07/23/2008 - filed I-751 to lift conditional status

07/28/2008 - NOA 1

08/26/2008 - biometric appointment

12/03/2008 - I-751 approved

12/08/2008 - received 10-year green card via mail

09/07/2009 - eligible for U.S. citizenship!
