What docs are need to get ID or DL while waiting for AOS Aproval

Hi, does anyone know what if you can get a CA ID or DL while waiting for AOS approval if you have an EAD card or Advance Parole Auth? Thanks in advance for any knowledge you may have.

In Ohio - they accept the EAD as a valid form for immigration purposes - not sure what CA accepts.

Yes you can get your DL with your EAD or AP I'm waiting on mine now to do that as well! Good luck!

not sure if u have applied now and gotten ur state ID or DL.... FYI, if it helps : EAD is accepted in CA- just make sure you have your SSN name changed to married name (if you are carrying ur husbands family name). They based their approval here making sure your EAD and SSN match.

Didn't know this til we are at the DMV office, hence have to drive to SSN office for namechange and waited 2 weeks yet before its on the system and finally issued an ID.
