my only experiences with "Mexican food" before I moved to LA was those boxed taco kits and Taco Bell or Taco Time....

now Mexican food is one of my favourite foods... mmm the enchiladas and beans at Rodolfo's on Olvera street are to die for...

There's a realllllly good Mexican place in the slums of Detroit right near the Ambassador bridge.

I haven't been there since I moved, but I'm craving to go there soon!

What's with Americans and poutine anyways?

Bill thinks its gross. How can you think poutine is gross?! It's amazing! And his parents think the concept is "weird" I'll show them weird... geez :P

Maybe it was just the way that La Belle made it. It sounds like it should be awesome, but the gravy at La Belle was too sweet tasting for me. I'm totally willing to give it another shot though, especially since I would kill for St. Huberts fries and gravy. If it were made with that stuff I'd consider moving to Canada instead of having him move to me. LOL

Really? Beef Gravy is like the only kind of gravy I find yummy. Unless paired with Turkey.

Now you're making me hungry! mmmm I have a Sonic and Carl's Jr down the street... and then there's Goodtimes. Goodtimes is amazing but they only have a couple locations outside of Colorado.

I'm actually not a huge fan of In 'N Out. I mean, its pretty good, but I find it a little overrated.

I miss Harvey's burgers.

I lovvveeee Sonic's Strawberry Limeade.

It's too bad that the guy who owned the one in town stopped paying his suppliers. They cut him off when he owed $200,000 and for a while he had his employees going to Save-A-Lot to get the food. After a few months the employees showed up to open the restaurant and there was a sign on the door saying their check would be in the mail.

:crying: I want a Limeade!!!!

Harvey's was another very yummy restaurant in Canada.

And I loved Mike's. I had some kind of chicken Alfredo with broccoli and it was soooooo awesome.

I second that. I miss Harvey's a lot. In 'N' Out is good but its not Harvey's.

As for mexican, when I feel cheep and dirty I goto Del Taco, eitherwise theres a million little mom and pop mexican places around. I love Pepe's cuz its cheep but its a bit of a drive to get to. I've never had pho but I had my first real ramen the other day when we went shopping, it was sooo good. Going to have my first Japanese curry this week, going up to LA to visit some friends and hit up some place called the Curry House. I'm excited!

I've never been a gravy fan, unless when you say gravy you mean the Italian gravy meaning red pasta sauce. Then I'd so be in for Poutine, but I'll settle for pizza fries, thanks!!
