Maybe this is a silly question..

I hve noticed that some 129F were sent in one day and the NOA1 had been received within 1 or 2 days?????

Is it an error or were these forms sent with a special request for a quick reply ?

My fiance sent ours on feb18th and we are hoping to get the 1st NOA around feb25th or 26th..am I correct?

It's not a sure thing of when you can expect the NOA1. I never received mine and in fact, had to call them about it. Some people get it within a couple of weeks and others have said it has taken up to 3 months.

At most it should not be more than two weeks. Yes, sometimes it is a few days from the Service Center receiving the package.

I have read cases where some people never got a hardcopy of NOA1 but it seems to be rare.

Can you check your bank account on line to see if the check was cashed. If so, you can look at the back of the check and get your WAC case number or EAC case number

We mailed ours USPS Priority Mail on Tue (Jan 25), CSC received it on Wed (Jan 26) and we received the NOA1 in the mail on Saturday (Jan 30). We had a "touch" on Jan 30, and my check was cashed on Feb 3rd. Granted, I live about 1 hr drive from CSC.

Also just to keep in mind, some of those that look like they got the NOA within just a couple days, they could possibly have not received it for a week after the date it was entered, but the NOA will show you the NOA date on the letter you get. For example my NOA date was 2 days after it was sent, but we didnt get the NOA1 in the mail for a week and a half after that.

My american fiance paid for with money order..

So in case we don´t receive the NOA1 by mail..how will we know the process number?

Thanks you!

Hi

Have you had your check cashed yet? That's the first thing they do. After that you get your NOA1 in few days. My fiance got ours 4 days after the check was cashed.

How did you get your WAC number?

Don't worry, everybody has to start sometime. I just started a little over two weeks ago.

OK, if the fiance(e) payed with a Money Order, then I am not sure how to get the EAC case number. You will get an EAC#### because I noticed your fiance(e) filed with VSC. You might be able to telephone the main number but I am not sure if they will help you. I think if you can be a little patient, you will get the NOA1 hard copy in the mail about a week or two after mailing. Mine took 11 days to arrive after I mailed the thing. That is because it turned out sending it Certified is very bad. It slows it down. I was so angry.

It's unlikely they can. They say 30 days and if you haven't received your NOA1, then call.

Our took some time because we sent... er... James is not here to answer that, but he sent it on a way that they need to sign the thing in order to pick the package. Since it took some time, James went to the post office to ask, and they told him that the delay is probably because they don't receive those kind of packages everyday, waiting them to pile a little and sign and pick up all at once. Did we get a little angry for paying more for slower service? :bonk:

Also, on our RFE, the postage was wrong, James placed less stamps then necessary... which was noticed just in the service center state, so our package went all the way to Vermont and back to Oklahoma just so they could tell it didn't have enough postage to make the travel :dead:

Just posting this so you know that it is normal for stuff to happen other then actual problems in the process. Might just be a mail post office thing and you'll know soon!
