Processing time question

Like everyone else (I'm sure), I've been watching the time line stats to see what NOA1 date was being processed at CSC. It jumped from November 1st yesterday to November 5th today. Our NOA1 was Nov. 2nd so ...YAY lol. Our petition was touched twice this month but nothing since then back on the 2nd. How many of you never got an email update or text message? I've read of a few who just found the approval in their mailboxes but was wondering how many? Is it pretty common? Are the time line stats just a projection or is that taken from realtime stats at USCIS?? Ok, enough questions for one thread :D

I am not sure where you are getting your stats. The USCIS stats on CSC show 5 months for I-130 for spouse, parent, or child under 21: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do

The timelines are taken form VJ members updating their timeline information.

I understand which dates you are looking at.

My NOA1 is dated Oct 21.

I had a touch on Feb 10.... and NOTHING since then.

It is so depressing.

I am in Jordan now visiting my husband, and even here, all I can think about is that piece of paper! :crying:

From the Immigration Timelines page link at the top of this page. On that page, to the right of the link to Igors link is an area showing current processing times/dates for I-129 and I-130 petitions at both CSC and VSC. CSC is currently processing I-130 petitions with a NOA1 date of November 5th.

Don't rely on USCIS' email or text, it's so unreliable. They approved our petition on the 2nd touched but they didn't update the status on their site and didn't send us email. We just found out we were approved when they sent us notice (email) that NOA2 was returned to their office because they sent it to my husband's old address so obviously, they didn't update our record even after my husband did it online. That's how USCIS work on "updates".
