I liked Crystal better too, but also liked Lee. I think it's one of those things where Crystal is better off in some ways for not winning so that she can do more of what she wants with her own music. I am sure she will have good things going on! :)

Lee is by far the better ROCKER! Crystal's screeching was very nasty. The song they picked for her SUCKED!

There was some really weird stuff in last night's show.

Pants on the ground bit???

William Hung?

Idol rejects calling out Simon???

This season wasn't one of my favs...I can only imagine what next year will bring with a Simon replacement.

Good for Lee for winning..we'll see how he does.

Fox was out on our cable provider last night, so I didn't get to watch! Oh well, probably better.

I think they need someone like Piers Morgan to replace Simon.

Oh no...the grand finale was really good. They had one star after another on stage last night, from Alanis Morisette in duet with Mama Sox to a Brett Michaels and Casey James duet. Christina Aguilera was phenomenal. Kris Allen (sp), last year's winner also sounded really good. I was amazed at how many acts they had on that stage.

I would have liked to see Alanis Morrissette and Christina Aguilera. Did Siobhan sing with anyone?

I'll catch it this weekend online...

Siobhan was in a lot of performances last night, but the biggest one was a duet with Aaron Clark, singing "How Deep is Your Love." They sang a few lines and then the Bee Gees joined in. She sounded great last night and looked stunning.

I was happy to see Lee win. But I would have been happy to see Crystal win as well. And like someone has said, it's almost better to be the runner up because you get all the exposure and you have more control of your own future.

Regardless, there are quite a few from the top 12 I think we'll be hearing more from.

Yep. I can't remember some of the others' names, but last night so many of them sounded really great and should get all kinds of offers. Andrew though...I love him, but man he's got to work on strengthening his voice.

OMG....I loved the "pants on the ground" thing. But then again I am odd that way. My favorite part of AI is the auditions because I laugh so hard over the crazy sh!t they have.

Yeah Andrew did the worst by far of all of them last night. I was a bit surprised to be honest. I don't think he is as bad as he sounded.

I have to admit that I am disappointed that Lee won over Crystal. Lee did improve the most, but Crystal has been consistent throughout the entire season. Tuesday night was a sampling of how Lee is on and off. But it's all cool, she will have a great future ahead of her thanks to the visibility the AI creates for the contestants.

Oh yes, now to "So you think you can dance" and "Hell's Kitchen".

Oh, yea...the auditions weeks can be very hillarious!!

I'm just not sure why they brought some of the people back...I guess for 1 more good "season 9" laugh.

I'm not sure if Darnell is joking or not. So here is some facts about William Hung (from Wikipedia)wink.gif

Originally from Sha Tin, Hong Kong, Hung moved to Camden, New Jersey, in 1993 and graduated from the John H. Francis Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles. He was a student at University of California, Berkeley, and later dropped out to pursue his music career. He later attended Pasadena City College.

He was born in 1983. So, he came to US when he was 10 years oldbiggrin.gif
