All the topics will have the same items to the left. The "demo" site is mainly so we can get the look and feel, functionality, etc. taken care of. When we convert the main site then all the custom items like flags, immigration status, etc. will be back.

I really like the new fonts, it really makes the site navigation stuff a lot more prominent.

I like that my profile stuff is now up the top.

I've never accessed the portal before, but I would really love if that could be "neatened" a little. Maybe if you can shift the ad's to up the top rather than having their own column? Also, could we maybe have some country / state specific guides? I really found a lot of positive reviews of my K1 guide that walked people through the Australian stuff a bit more in depth. I know the consular info can have it, but "Australia K1 Guide" and "Australian CR-1 Guide" or something like that. I'm not sure if many countries do the big thread like I did but I think if you in the short term the consular info could be put in until someone could do an updated in-depth guide... just an idea.

I really like how my watched topics are now on the forum page as well so I don't need to jump forward and back between my control panel stuff and the forums.

I notice on the "new topics" on the main page, there's a button for printable version of a topic, or being able to forward a topic, but if it's not there if you click ON the topic, which if it's not a new topic means I can't get a printable version or forward the topic? Maybe I just can't see it? (okay, found it under the options next to watch list )

I also noticed, at least on the third image where I can see the bottom of the screen that the "Disclaimer" isn't there.

I really like the new search thing being over on the side too, it appears a lot more obvious.

It all looks good. I like the new blues and the crisp new look and font.

**Edit - could we at a "watch topic" to the bottom as well so I don't need to scroll back up to the top (which with some people signatures and a lot of posts can take a while )

Anyone that would like to sign up can visit the beta site and take a look. You will need to sign up for a new account there (this is just for the beta).

NOTE: The vast majority of the links DO NOT WORK . This is on purpose as the main goal is to demo the look and feel. The rest of VJ will adopt the new look once we convert over. Also any "custom" information on the forums such as your country, etc will not show up. All the "little tweaks" will be installed when we convert the main board here. Long story, the major feedback will be for the forums software there in general.

Mods, please sign up and then PM me and I will activate your mod account to get you set-up and start getting used to the new layout on that side. Members please have fun there and try out new things. You will be the early adopters so to speak so when VisaJourney goes live (which is soon) with the new layout, you will be able to help everyone else!

yours looks good but mine, the navigation section is way too big for the words it contains

I have a 17" widescreen and am running mozilla, if that helps.
