The bonafide marriage proof is not a document, it is a variety of things to show that you and your wife love eachother and married not for immigration purposes and have a good relationship. So things like phone bills to eachother, plane tickets and other proof you visited eachother, photos together (ideally with family and friendsd), chat logs and emails, letters you sent eachother, being on eachother's insurance papers, having joint porperty, bank accounts etc etc etc

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Not sure why so many people are focused on showing their relationship is about love. That's not what bona fide means. Mentioning phone bills and plane tickets in the same sentence just gets people confused about what their showing evidence of. (It's evidence, not proof.) Boarding passes, not plane tickets are evidence of meeting in person. Phone bills, photos, emails and chat logs etc. are forms of evidence of a bona fide ongoing relationship.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

the I-130 instructions cover the 6 types of evidence that you can provide, on initial petition submittal, to prove up a bonafide relationship. It's not really reviewed by USCIS, but it IS carried along in the casefile, a Visa Officer at the Embassy/Consulate will review it prior to the actual interview, IF IT's INCLUDED on the initial submittal.

Sometimes it's hard to gather up the proof if you've just gotten married and still live apart (in different countries)
