DOS phone number

Hi,

I'v seen posts where people have said they have called DOS. Can anyone tell me where I would find the number for DOS? When you say DOS do you mean the embassy? Because our embassy refuses to give any information over the phone. So I'm just confused where to go for more info.

Currently, our case was reaffirmed by USCIS on 02/02/10 and sent back to the embassy. So any ideas who I should be calling to check on where it is? Or to find out any additional information?

DOS is the Dept. of State. They are located in Washington D.C.They have all the current info on your petition. The number is 202-663-1225. they are open from 830 am to 5pm est. They will tell you the latest info on your petition.

When you call DOS, dial 1 and then 0.

Send the embassy an email and ask them about the file and the interview.

You should get a better response from them. They don't seem to like talking on the phone.

I also find that I get quick responses from them when I send them emails on Saturday nights.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........
