Hi !

Im a US citizen filing DCF for my husband and baby.

I m not in this part of the process yet, but I want to know if in the time of the interview in Cd Juarez I can be with my baby (8 month old now) or he must go with my husband? (i think im not allow to enter the Consulate, but my question is because of the age of my baby).

Will be the same interview for my husband and baby?..the I-130 forms will be filing one for each of them, but i imagine the interview will be together. Is that right?

Because I tried to get the CRBA but I couldnt... because at the time of his birth I wasnt married with his dad, so I was treated for that purpose as single mom. And one of the requirements for that situation was to had been in USA for a continous period of 365 days. I lived in USA for 10 years, but I always came to Mexico for Christmas, so I wasnt 365 days continous (some years were just 4 days outside USA but thats broke the continous period). In the US Consulate here told me that I must file for Permanent Residence for him and once in USA he will get american citizenship automatically.
