Immigration Free until 2008.

Rio, soccer, carnival, bikinis, samba and the most beautiful people in the world.

Maybe I also think a little of crime and poverty (favelas).

On second thought, also: Amazonas, rain forest.

But my picture of Brazil is dominated by what I know about Rio de Janeiro, which is stupid because Brazil has so much more to offer... but that's how it is.

Wow :) What a great surprise to see that alot of people answered because I thought it would be dead by now since I can't make the poll thing work :whistle:

everything that was said is true... and blackbettie.. you are so right :) Brazil is so much more than just Rio ... actually I think that Rio sucks :P We have really beautiful places here :)

Just surprised that nobody mentioned Brazilian wax :lol: :lol: :P

Football, The Amazon rain forest, Capirinha, the beaches, so many stuff. and my smart and cute God daughter, from Belem, Fortaleza, Maranao, Brazil is not just bout Rio, if you go there only you will miss most of the stuff the country has to offer,

have you ever try a cold coconut with a shot of Cachassa(the rhum that made capirinah)

Vay Vay all the way (Samba)

I am married now so i can't say anything the other stufff

Gone but not Forgotten!

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

yeah... Chuckles.. there are alot of it here.. lots of rich and poor people all together... this country is a mix of things... good and bad ones..

and you can find different kind of people too.. blonde, black hair, blue, brown, green eyes... black , white, anything.. which makes it pretty neat :D

Oh yes, ESCRAVA ISAURA (Isaura the Slave)! First ever soap opera I saw (before I knew what a soap opera even was).

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

Oh, yeah, Isaura was much better than some of the soaps from Mexico they showed later on.
