So our interview is scheduled for next month. My husband is the one who filed AOS for me, so does he need to have his passport at the time of the interview as well ? I do have mine but he doesn't have his.

A form of identification, yes..

Passport not required unless it is used as a form of ID

My husband brought his just in case but he also had his driver license with him. We used his passport to get in the premises. Our ISO though asked and looked at his passport.

Our interview notice states that if eligibility is based on marriage, you need your husband/wife's Birth Certificate and evidence of United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident Status. If he acquired U.S. citizenship by birth in the U.S., the Birth Certificate should suffice as evidence (in our case my husband had to get a passport to visit me in the Philippines so he has his and we'll be bringing it to the interview). Just bring another form of I.D.? A driver's license or state I.D. maybe?
