Congratulations!

This is killing me though, we are still waiting for ours! Almost 2 months since we sent off packet 3 as well =/

thomas we are in the same boat as you, i call dos almost daily and they give me no help and no helpful info, they are rude and inconsiderate, my fiance and i are curious on what you put for your wedding date? we put august and we wonder if that has something to do with the delay, keep up posted

Yes they are and they do it because they can. I've called DOS 3 times and only received help once. The first time the agent (or "visa specialist") I spoke to was really helpful; took my case number right away and answered by query immediately and clearly. The second time I called the agent asked why I was calling and then put me on hold for an unexplained reason for 10 minutes (to take more calls maybe?) and then came back to me and asked again why I was calling... took my info and then told me something (after hesitating and sounding like she didn't know what the hell she was talking about) which the next day was proven to be untrue. I called them last week to find out an update on whether my visa had been issued, was again put on hold for an unexplained reason... was then asked again why I was calling... took my info and then told me I hadn't received the visa cos the embassy had put me in additional processing... which wasn't true. I don't mind being told news that I don't want to hear so long as it's told in a professional and decisive manner; but don't sound clueless because then I just conclude you're BSing me.

oh dos gives me the run around, they litterally cant tell me anything useful, they cant tell me why my stuff isnt being handled, got told last friday to call the embassy when i said we already did that ( my fiance called and the guy told him they really dont have anything else different then dos) i said well we tried that and they dont have any more info then you guys, she said i doubt that, i wanted to scream. i just dont get how no one can tell us anything, i hate the sitting duck game

Thats what I've been thinking too, that the wedding date we put is what was slowing down out app, I put late June/early July. I am guessing you put a similar date?

We're still waiting btw...blah!
