Salaam and hello to everyone.

I was trying to search the forum with no luck to my question.

I moved right before my husband's interview back in November 2009. When I called the DOS they said that I had to give my change of address to the people at the embassy. Well, I did that but obviously they didn't update my address since my husbands visa has the former address on it (not a big deal since it is my family home).

Anyhow, can my husband change the address at the port of entry? Would we need to contact the USCIS? Is it better to just let the greencard and social security card just go to the old address?

You change your address using the I865 as the sponser. He uses the AR11 to change his address.

Yes, he can. I changed mine at POE but I also did it online with AR11 on USCIS website. The POE officer said it might delay my greencard but I just received it today. :dance:

February 26, 2010--SSN received
REMOVING of CONDITIONS
December 22, 2011-- I-751 mailed
February 28, 2012-- Biometrics done
October 10, 2012-- 10-yr GREEN CARD received
NATURALIZATION
January 09, 2013-- sent N-400
January 28, 2013-- Biometrics

May 22, 2013-- Interview Passed- Officially a US Citizen!
