Our health insurance is paid for by Daniel's employer. Tricare is the best anyone can get. It provides almost 100% coverage and is totally hassle-free. The only thing we have to pay is $3 per prescription
I can attest to that. My sister who is married to a Marine had a very difficult pregnancy that required several surgeries. At one point, they had to airlift her from one hospital in Charlotte to Atlanta for some procedure. Zero paperwork, zero added cost.

Impossible. That's an evil government single payer loser scheme you're talking about here. Death panels, rationing, waiting all rolled into one. I call Joe Wilson on you guys. You Lie!

I currently do not have insurance. My husband has insurance that he pays for himself and he doesn't like it at all that he can't pay for mine at the moment. HIs employer refuses to offer insurance, even though she can well afford it. I have already been offered a job that I can start as soon as I have my EAD which has excellent health insurance...can't wait to get it!

It's just insane, the health situation here. If I were at home, I could see any doctor I want, go to hospital if I need to, and get the prescriptions I need at a fairly low cost. My mother has Multiple Sclerosis....if she had been diagnosed here, we would have gone bankrupt. She needs MRI's every six months, sees a specialist 4 times a year, and is on about 7 different medications daily. All she has to pay for his her prescriptions. Everything else is covered by Medicare. Guess Australians are a bunch of dirty socialists.

I have insurance from my employer, but we cannot afford the premium for my husband. My deductibles, co-pays, and prescriptions go up every year (right now its $350/30/15), so once I have my yearly checkups, I have to get sick before my insurance will pay anything.

My husband is British, and he thinks our healthcare system is completely ridiculous.
