Hello VJ members,

Just out of curiousity what happens to our emails, phone logs, chat logs, etc that is given to the CO at local consulates? Do we get them back?

All the documents the you submit become part of your file.

If there are items that you present to the CO for examination at the interview those may be handed back.

We presented our photo album, phone log, e-mails, and chats at the time of our interview to the C.O. and it was given back to us.

04/02/2012-Packaged arrived at Vermont Service Center-Signed by D. Renaud

04/05/2012- check cashed

04/07/2012- Recvd NOA in mail dated 04/03/2012

05/14/12-Biometrics Appointment- Completed

12/31/12-Production of card ordered text/email

Did you black out any personal messages (maybe extremely personal discussion) from your emails and chat logs? Or did you leth them read everything?

They gave all of our photos that we had sent in with our I-129f back to me at the interview, but they kept everything else..

AOS

08/10/10 - mailed AOS/EAD/AP-package

08/13/10 - package delivered in Chicago

08/20/10 - received USCIS text messages/emails regarding acceptance AOS/EAD/AP

08/23/10 - received 3 NOA1 hardcopies

08/30/10 - all 3 touched

09/07/10 - received Biometrics letter

09/14/10 - received text msg/email - AOS application transferred to CSC

09/15/10 - AOS application touched

09/21/10 - AOS application transferred to "a USCIS office"

09/29/10 - Biometrics

09/30/10 - all 3 applications touched

10/01/10 - EAD card production ordered/AP approved

10/08/10 - AP received

10/12/10 - EAD card received

12/07/10 - AOS approved/Card production ordered

12/14/10 - received Welcome Notice in mail

They gave us the initial evidence back (photos, call logs, chat logs, emails, etc.) in the visa packet... They also didn't keep the additional evidence I brought with me to the interview.. So, we have all the evidence we sent them.

ROC Timeline

8/1/12: ROC window opens
9/4/12: ROC packet sent
9/8/12: ROC packet delivered to VSC
9/12/12: Check cashed
9/14/12: NOA letter received (NOA dated 9/10/12)
9/20/12: Biometrics letter received (Bio appointment 10/15/12)
10/12/12: Early biometrics walk-in

4/27/13: RFE received

6/17/13: RFE response sent

7/1/13: ROC petition approved

7/5/13: GC received in the mail.
