Hello all,

I have read the posts for the past 6 months and want to thank everyone for sharing their personal experiences. However there is one I am not clear on, what exactly is in packet 3?

I am wondering if once we receive our NOA2 can my fiance come over here in the states and wait for his interview approval so we can fly to Juarez together?

No, your fiance must have a visa to enter the US. Unless your fiance applies for a tourist visa, he will have to wait until he is approved for a K1 fiance visa.

The generic answer is... Yes/Maybe. It comes down to the CBP officer at the border (which is the case whether he/she has a case pending with USCIS or not) and how prepared the intending visitor is.

Thanks for the response. He actually is here right now on his tourist visa but going back next week. Just looks like the packet 3 process is different based on country and not sure if he needs to wait on "packet 3" or if he can get all the info needed online.
