So I have my interview next week, and am gathering everything together as follows, in a nice indexed folder:

1. A photocopy of the complete original pack sent off, including the passport pictures, marriage license, birth certificates and so forth

2. All my original NOAs, interview notice and now stamped biometrics appointment letter

3. [i received the emails about my AP and EAD, and if they arrive I will of course bring them along]

4. Original birth certificates and passports for me and my husband and photocopies (my I-94 is in my passport)

5. Updated financial information for my husband in the form of a letter from his HR department, more recent payslips and a copy of his W-2 for 2009. (Since we filed, he got a promotion)

6. Photos from before we were married, our budget wedding (hahaha) and doing things as a family since then, our daughters 1st birthday etc (my husband is hopefully printing these off today)

7. Our daughters passport application receipt, including the copies of the original documents sent off in it: an Affadavit of Physical presence, an original copy of our marriage license and Adelaide's foreign birth certification. [i have put these in as I don't think we'll get the originals back in time for our interview and this is a valid reason for not including them I think]

8. Copies of our medical insurance and cards showing me a spouse and our daughter as dependant on the plan

9. Copy of my gym subscription agreement, that my husband pays for (his bank details are listed on the sign up agreement at the bottom)

10. A letter from my in-laws stating that we are currently living with them to save money etc[instead of a lease agreement in both our names]

11. Randomly picked copies of our letters, emails, text messages, chat transcripts from being we were married from 2006 - 2008

12. IF IT ARRIVES IN TIME, a copy of my new credit card, that my husband got me, which is connected to his existing account, but I think we should be able to get a screen print of it from their website

13. IF I get my EAD this week with my EAD I can go apply for my social security number and from there I can get a joint bank account opened with my husband, (as per another topic I started about a month ago)

14. Copies of our boarding passes from our last point of entry, with return flight information (which we didn't end up taking)

15. Original cards etc, we received from people congratulating us on our wedding, Adelaide's 1st birthday etc, addressed to us as a family

16. If I can get my husband to remember, copy of our cell phone bill, as my phone number is connected to his plan, (and you can see us calling each other a lot back and forth)

If anyone is curious, I was a bit of an admin whizz before I had a baby hahah. I am pretty sure I have forgotten something...

I think your list looks just fine. I could only think of a couple of things you don't have, not that I think you need them:

Joint bank info

Affidavits from friends or relatives

I am making an assumption that you're a VWP adjuster but if I'm wrong on that I apologize. We were VWP adjusters-we didn't have any bank accounts together yet and it didn't seem to matter. We did have 3 affidavits and the IO made a point to mention them so maybe they made a difference, I don't know. He really seemed to like our picture albums. We really had no trouble with anything and our interview was very smooth. If you didn't already, make sure you have 2 copies of everything in case they want to keep anything.

Good luck and keep us posted!!

I just wanted to say thanks for everyones input on my original post. Ironically, the IO didn't give a toss about what I had prepared and turned me down every single time I tried to throw bits of paper, photos, cards at him, but we got approved so I am so happy about that. I' going to keep this pack as it is and just keep adding to it, for out next GC application, as I was told that if we submit enough documents by post, they can approve us by post and we'd not need another interview! Hurrah!

Good luck on ur interview !!!!!!!!!!

Funnily enough I didn't have my copy of that in my pack. I got a copy from the doc at the time, and gave a copy of that copy to my lawyer who filed it for me, but since then, I had a massive clear out and apparently threw away my copy! Whoops!

Yes trillium I am a WVP adjuster, and we missed out getting a SSN because I didn't know I could do it on my I-94 etc, so I've just gone and applied for that and now when it comes we can finally get a joint bank account for me and the other half!

The night before we got some letters from close family or friends... it was a mad dash at the last minute because we had got caught in a storm that knocked out our power (and therefore the pump that powers our well), phone etc for a few days and the road was closed because a tree had crushed out fence and pulled the power lines down onto the road. Phew. Got there in the end!!!

Thanks again for all your input.
