This is month 7 without being next to him. I miss him, but I think it's good that we get to have this time apart. It's just one more thing to strengthen our marriage. If there's ever a day either one of us has doubts, then we can look back at all of this ####### we've come through as a reminder that we're in this for a very, very good reason and we have to continue fighting very, very hard for that reason.

No Payment Portal. No AVR update. I'm okay with that. Best Friend still hasn't completed the I-864. Instead, I picked up her documents yesterday and will go over for a signing visit later today. Husby sent his revised DS-230 and continuation sheets to me yesterday. They'll be here by Thursday. It's frustrating, but I believe that it has happened for a reason and will turn out for the best in the end.

Don't give up!

Ok, so on the 6th I emailed the DS-3032 template through to the NVC even though they hadn't requested it yet. I'd already called and given mine and my wifes email addresses to an operator. Today I get an automated email from the NVC saying this..

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Based upon the information received, the NVC is unable to determine the

date of birth for the petitioner. Please submit a copy of a

government-issued document indicating the date of birth (e.g. valid

passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate). The document must

include the month, day, and year of birth.

Please be advised our office has revised our guidelines for

communication between the National Visa Center and the public. We are

now required to verify case information each time we receive an inquiry.

The initial followed the template for the DS-3032 exactly, and gave the date of birth of both my wife, and myself. The AVR message hasn't changed and is still the first one stating when the case was entered into their system.

Should I just wait for the AVR to change, and they request the DS-3032 and resend the email, or send in the details they've asked for, even though they would have recieved both a birth certificate and marriage certificate with the USCIS case?

Thanks

GW,

Oh no! Were the numbers in the date of birth you used on the DS-3032 e-mail accidentially transposed? I'd say call back and talk to an operator about the e-mail. Maybe you won't need to send in the birth certificate. If you do, though, just send it in without a fight. I'm sorry to hear about your hiccup and hope it gets worked out quickly.

Edit: Or... go with what Ms. Estrella said. She knows what's up.
