Okay, I was able to reach the AVR system and there's no new update. I think the NVC system errored out on Saturday so some people made the same mistake I did and ended up holding for an hour without any operator.

However, from our list, one person has received a case complete and she sent her ds 230 one day before me. So I expect and hope to get a case complete or RFE this Monday or Tuesday.

**** filed K3/CR1 concurrently. My wife and I both work/live overseas. The following timeline continues from the approval of the K3 VISA.

hello Sachinky,

I am still waiting for them to review my revised DS-230. as you know I got an RFE on 2-19-10. I overnighted the revised DS-230 on 2-22-10. NVC acknowledge that they received the package on 3-2-10. Since then they have not review my revised form yet. Hopefully I will get good news early next week.

I am leaving in about a week to go be with hubby for the remainder of the visa process, but will have a house sitter checking all my mail daily at my home residence - should I then put a Rome address in for the "agent?"

you should receive case number this week.. as soon you receive it call and speak to an operator and give your email address of both of you...if you are the petitioner and will be visiting your spouse take your checks with you so you can pay the fees..dont worry for snail mail everything is done by email... do you have your affidavit ready?? how long are you going to stay out of your house???

check in the nvc web page the poverty line perhaps you will need a co sponsor..I dont know if in 3 months everything will be solved as you being outside your home you will have to mail the documents from there and its not the same ...There is a girl here wich nickname is Mrs Wife who husband is with her in her country so perhaps she can give you a better advice of how to do everything
