I sent 6 months of statements from my personal, business and savings accounts. I did not list any assets. More statements with good balances, the better I thought.

Did your attorney suggest to submit bank statements? Because my attorney says I don't need to.

NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING! I am in a black hole. Been 10 days now of Supervisor reviewing, Supervisor reviewing....then Thursday operator said...Oh your case just started to be assessed by a STUPID SUPERVISOR!

Nobody can help me, still haven't gotten anything in the mail, hope that my calling daily hasn't irritated them. I am super nice/friendly, but I do think our calls are logged.

I must of missed a post somewhere but even though you got an attorney you still got an RFE? What does your attorney say?

WHO WANT SOME FAJITAS?

So they took my money for both AOS and IV since yesterday. And as many of you know, the payment portal is down, which means that I cannot print the cover sheets. Isn't that unfortunate? However, I will not get upset, I will think positive thoughts and use the added time to double check, triple check or even quadruple check all my paper work. Maybe this break/hold-up is for a good reason. Sometimes we all just have to exercise patience (yes, the waiting for just the approval tested my patience).

My husband has been telling me "I miss you a lot, but don't rush the process everything will happen when it is meant to happen." He is on to something there because at first I wanted to get through NVC in record time--to beat some record floating out there. But now, I will just stop freaking out about hiccups in the process and do what I have to do when it is possible for me to do it. I will not stress about this anymore.

Good luck to everyone going through NVC. I hope we all get through this without RFEs and the people that have RFEs get them resolved quickly.

And lastly, thanks to the regular posters in this thread. I have learned a lot from all of you.

Great post!!! POSITVE! (unlike my train track pic)

Your husband is right! All things in due time. And the USCIS process was wicked wasnt it! This doesnt even compare, but I think we are all so eager and just being tested. I said it before, and will say it again, I do believe that our marriages have already been tested and we will all appreciate eachother more when we can finally be together. If we can get thru this, distance and the frusterations of the unkown, then we can conquer all the rest that will come our way.

This payment portal thing is a hiccup. And I think your right, might be happening for a reason! The RFE's we are all getting and even the approvals are right where they need to be. I am so happy to have this site though! It truly is therapeutic to know we are not alone in this process.

Bank statements are not required, but since Sachi got RFEd because of that, we are all sending at least the most recent one.

I didn't know we could see the interview dates on the website! Looks like they didn't updated March/April though: http://www.embaixada-americana.org.br/inde...mp;itemmenu=183

Immigrant visa appointments are posted on our Web site monthly, by approximately the middle of every month, listing the interviews for the following month. Visa appointments for the current month are also listed.

If you made your appointment after mid-month, you should come to your interview even though your name may not appear on the list.

So, does that mean the Rio de Janeiro consulate makes interview appointments after the first 2 weeks of the month?

I think I should know the answer but what is the email address for me to email the DS3032?

It is NVCInquiry@state.gov. Don't forget to use the email format from the Ling Che guide; that worked just fine for us. And it must be sent from your spouse's email. Good luck!

Thanks! But after looking at your time line, it looks like you are on your way. I'm sure you will get some feedback from NVC soon. I'm thinking that they are pretty swamped because of the inclement weather that we had on the East coast here and the recent influx of approvals especially from CSC. If you do get an interview in May, but you are ready for one in April perhaps your husband can complete the "interview readiness" form. I know there is one that applicants can complete for the embassy in Guyana. I found it on the embassy website. I'm assuming there may be one for Jamaica as well. I'll use it only if our "case complete" make us ineligible for a May interview.

Good luck...case complete coming soon.
