Hi,

Has anyone heard of emails being spammed by the NVC? Like - they never received our 3032 because it went to their spam folder or something!! Just kind of spazzing (as per usual) because we haven't heard anything. Guess I'll have my husband call Monday - nothing else to do but that...right!?!:whistle:

Have one more question: If the joint sponsor doesn't include his wife on the I-864 but files jointly, in part 25 where the tax stuff is asked for: does he put the total amount as reported on the tax return or just his part.

Let's say he earns: $150,000. His wife also earns the same. But since he earns enough on his own:

For line 23: $150,000

line 24a: 150,000

24b: None. (Or does he HAVE to include his wife here?)

Total household income 24c: 150,000.

Now for line 25, the tax stuff:

Tax year: 2008 Total income: would he put 150,000 (his own income) or 300,000 (total income on tax returns)?

I might be mistaken, but under tax purposes, filing jointly would include both husband and wife. The IRS people consider husband and wife one entity for tax purposes. He should include wife as well IMO.

Just catching up on all the threads today everyone.

Wishing it was Monday...

Im stressing about my I-864 - hoping I have all that was required. I didnt include proof of citizenship for me. I see some people talking about sending in copies of their Passport Photos or something? They have my birth certificate with the original petition. I didnt use a co-sponsor. I am paranoid. This is all I sent.. can someone tell me if I might have missed something? I am trying to anticipate an RFE since as Sachinky said.. they are getting issued like confetti!

I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)

Form I-864 (Signed and dated) Each sheet with case number at top.

2007 Federal Tax Transcript

2006 Federal Tax Transcript

2005 Federal Tax Transcript

2009 W-2

Letter of Employment

Copy of Savings Account Statement (Wells Fargo Bank)

No passport photos, no proof of citizenship for me. No cosponser. Did I misss anything guys>

Meh--they're optional. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. Apparently they can't RFE for optional stuff, but that's only hearsay.
