Sassy--Your cousin lives in the same household with you? Then from my understanding she would need to fill in the I864A. Also add proof of her citizenship and her residence (the fact that you do share a residence). Maybe someone else can chirp in.

I was in the exact position last weekend and I know how much it sucks. But hang in there. The email should come to you by Monday. You can also talk to an operator and figure out exactly what it is that they want.

BOY OH BOY..Just woke up and listened to AVR and got message saying RFE which was sent to me on march 5th.It said missing or incomplete financial information.I sent both i-864 and DS230 together. Does anyone know if i will get a mail or will it be an email? OHH GOSH,It's the weekend and no one is at NVC..I checked my email and there is nothing there..Now im wondering what they want,,,,,,,I live with my joint sponsor who is my cousin and she filled out

I-864.I hope that was the right form.

I believe that since you live with your cosponsor then you should of filled out the I-1864a form... and then showed proof how the two of you are related.... I am sure someone else and come along and be able to tell you exactly....IT seems that everyone gets an RFE on Friday lately, and then makes you all nervous and upset over the weekend... surely it will be something simple that you can send back to the NVC quickly good luck

I called the NVC number and received my case number from the automated system. Now what???? Do I have to wait until Monday to do anything??

Call them and give them your email addresses on Monday morning. Then wait for them to send you the AOS/DS3032 links in your email.

I ensured i called NVC twice and asked which form..I got 2 different answers.One Rep said i-864 another said i-864A.I also called a laywer friend and he told me i-864. I had my co-sponsor fill out bought but i sent in the i-864. I sent proof of citizenship. Was i suppose to send copy of co-sponsor Driver's License to show proof of address too??

Well all i can do is wait till monday..BOY OH BOY

I called and this is my msg.... "the NVC is waiting on the return of the biographic forms from the petitionor.....once this packet is recieved, plz wait 6-8 weeks for review of all the documents, and then you will be notified of the outcome"

that is the Ds230 ... it looks the AVR is delayed as you have already sent the DS230

If you look the barcoded sheet, the AOS and DS230 go to different departments. That's why it doesn't matter if you send them together or not.

I think they are probably handling your AOS package and now are waiting for your DS230.

My message doesn't say specific which package they received. It only says: we received your DOCUMENTS on march 5th. Please allow blah blah blah"
