I recieved an email from NVC today... and the subject line had my case number and then (NLH PM INST PKT AGENT) what is this? when I opened the attachment it was just a barcoded cover sheet and told me I need to look at there website for police certification requirements and that a DS-230 needed to be sent it.... I get all that... but what does NLH-? PM-? INST-ruction PKT-packet AGENT mean?

Yes that is the intruction package... I received mine next day I paid the 400 dollars but yours take way too long

you can dowload it.. dont wait for it.. as soon your payment is cleared print the coverletter and add it to the package

Approved @ noon today...after scouring the boards & figuring out that the "Revised Notice" for the I-130 is approval...why couldn't they just put "Approval Notice sent" like on the I-129F?

After the AOS is paid and submitted..does the package that follows come in the postal mail or email?

I believe there is no package that comes in the postal mail... Would someone else confirm this?

Yes nothing in mail. Its all through email.

Yes..unless you didnt provide any email add to NVC. They'll surely send everything to you thru snail mails

Hmm mine says it was made on 20 Feb...still waiting for the AVR to change for us too. I just want to know that it is getting looked at there. I really want to have all this over now!! (like everyone)

I'm helping my hubby fill out DS230 and confused about question 43a (2nd part). He was here (US) on a J1 Visa so he has a SSN but his Social Security card says "Valid for Work only by DHS Authorization". So do we fix that after he comes to US or do we say we want a replacement card on question 43B?

you answered yourself..put yes the social security number and the 43b put NO and he can update it when he gets there...

Second questions; On that one website where it shows how long Police Clearance is good for, it says for United Arab Emirates its good for a year.

Well my hubby got the Police Clearance all ready but his states "Good for 3mo since issue date". You think it will still be okay or?

I am still waiting for IV bill to show as paid. While I am waiting I have a question for you guys about medicals. Medicals are done after case is complete or can my hubby do this anytime after we got our case number assigned?
