Packet 3 and 4 are names used by K visas. We call Packet 3 the AOS package and Packet 4 the DS-230 package. It's just different terms for the same thing.

Yep. I feel your pain. Log in fine - still in process. this is day 4. i have no idea what their problem is.

AOS shows PAID! IV still IN PROCESS. That's alright. They were paid about an hour apart.

Guys, let's not give in to frustration just yet. No matter what, it will come. We've come this far, and we only have a little more to go. Let's keep our spirits up. The 10 o'clock update isn't too far away. We'll get good news then.

Oh, yeah. The other day, waiting for the e-mail with the IIN, Husby asked me, "You're not always this excited to spend money, right?" Heh heh. Silly man.

I woke up today and first thing I did was ( no, not eat or drink coffee ) but check my email.

I received a "checklist" email dated MARCH 4 from NVC stating they are waiting for my wife's DS-230. Huh? How can this be?

The AVR stated just two days ago that they have received the checklist of information, presumably the DS-230 and documents that I sent a week ago.

Perhaps there is a delay in receiving emails from NVC, versus the AVR messages? Is it possible that these emails are generated 2-4 days late? Anyone with experience on this?

ON A POSITIVE NOTE, it does state clearly in the checklist coversheet that my wife's visa category is an IR1. Yah!

This looks like a false notification. The problem is none of the operations are synced up at NVC. The operator has access to the most updated info. The AVR is usually lagging 1-2 days from what the operator can tell you. Looks like the emails are also out of whack and lagging. Suggest talking to an operator for the most accurate information.

Same here, my AOS shows as Paid & IV is still in process. Yes, waiting till 10pm & maybe the other one will update.
