NVC March 2010 Edition!

Hello VJ folks

hope we have some good news today..

so it looks that at the end NVC is not too delayed with the packages as mine was delivered on Monday and Yesterday was inputted in the AVR saying that they receive my documents on March 3rd...how many days may I count from today to have a case complete or a RFE (knock on wood)??

Wow! That was fast. Congrats!!! :) Hopefully you get good news VERY soon. :thumbs:

So what do you guys think? Can the DS-230 package be sent before the AOS package if both of the fees show PAID and both othe barcode sheets have been received?

My I 864 was delivered about four days before SeanJohn's but my DS 230 arrived at NVC about a day or two after his.

My AVR says NVC has received checklist on March 1.

Interesting, my AVR says checklist and SeanJohn's says documents.

You can send in your DS230 first, Bear. Do be aware that this might lead to a false RFE for your entire AOS package. But no problem, otherwise.

Have you called them yet?

I have been calling them everyday this week and found out they didnt get to my package till the 2nd. And even though the AVR says the NVC received my documents, the operators still say they cannot see them in the system and that only one of them is being reviewed.

I think I'm going to hold off for today and only call them tomorrow...

my message says that they received my documents..not a check list... I dont know whats the difference..I sent both package together maybe that is the difference

AOS package:

I-864 Coversheet (with barcode) for payment of $70

Form I-864 (signed and dated)

2008 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2007 Federal Tax Return and W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2006 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS Tax Transcript

Letter of Employment

Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

Bank Statements.

Some people are choosing to send in 2009 W2s.

Remember, the USC petitioner will file a I-864 regardless of income. If your joint sponsor lives in the same household as the petitioner, then they will use I-864A. If they live in a separate residence, then they will fill in another I-864.

For your joint sponsor you will need proof of their citizenship/residency. For household member, you will need proof of relationship and same household/residence.

My attorney saying because I included my W2's I don't need to send my pay stubs. Should I trust them

or send them anyway (will have to search for them)?

Hi guys,

Another question. (Since I have PLENTY of time to obsess over the 230), did you guys add the case number in the right hand corner like you did for the AOS? i don't want to to mess up the originals - but maybe for the copies?? Any advice?

I put the case number on EVERYTHING....
