Original Divorce Decree for Petitioner goes with the DS-230. You did great and so did your husband! For all the stress they bring, the bottom line is that they're amazing. Otherwise, you wouldn't be with him.

If you are applying for a CR1, then no, they dont apply... It indicates that it is for IR5, F4 etc...

I had nitpicked the h3ll out of the petitioner's divorce documents to be submitted during NVC processing.

Yer supposed to supply a photocopy of the certified divorce decree on initital I-130 submittal,

and then the certified divorce decree must be presented on interview day.

I still have no 'hard answer' for 'petitioners divorce decree during NVC processing' - and I've not seen RFEs for it, at NVC.

I still don't know 'the right answer'.

I know that at least in manila they normally ask for an original divorce decree of the petitioner at the interview (from some people's experiences). I had an RFE for that at the USCIS..(didn't photocopy the backside where the court stamped it) I still gave my wfie a court certified copy to take to the interview even though it should be in our casefile.

For our CR-1/IR-1 visas the DS-230 package is all beneficiary documents. Either way though, I dont think it would be a problem if it was included when not needed....although they may look at it funny

I had to repay both IV and AOS because it was rejected. People even if it says IN PROCESS make sure that your receipt has a transaction ID. At least you will know that it is truly IN PROCESS. :-(

Here is my case update for the day

AVR: NVC is waiting for the biographic information. (I believe they are reffering to the DS-230 package which was received by the NVC on the 2nd of March but still in the mail room)

NVC operator: Received a package on the 1st of March and is under review but unable to see the details of the package. (This has to be the AOS package that was received by NVC on 24th Feb)
