you are not the only one.. I already prepared all the documentations that I will take to the interview like photos, emails ,phone bills etc...and I am calculating about taking my vacations pending from last year to have enough time to do all the little details before the interview , do the medical etc...so as you see you are not the only one hehehe

Hahaha me too......Been colleting all those proof of marriage docs. Had my NVC paper ready a while ago so now I spend my time colleting these. I sometimes wonder after I am done with this journey I wont have anything to browse on the net :lol:

02-09-2007 : Marriage

I-130 Stage (Filed while I was on Green card)

California Service Center

06-11-2007 : I-130 Sent

08-04-2009 : I-130 Approved

NVC Stage

09-04-2009 : NVC Received

09-08-2009 : NVC case# assigned (Waiting game begins to Upgrade my case to IR-1)

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Chennai Consulate Stage

05-01-2010: Medical

05-04-2010: Interview Approved!!!!!!

05-21-2010: POE at San Francisco

06-21-2010: Received GC in mail

Our NVC case number assigned on February 24,2010, and we emailed NVCINQUIRY@state.gov for participating the Electronic Processing Program, but did not get any reply so far. We might need to talk to a NVC operator in person tomorrow morning

Ok.. so now Im discouraged.

We wont get our DS230 to the NVC until next week (March 2-3) there is probably NO way they will review it and/or get it complete by the 8th. Does that mean a May interview date (sans RFE's I hope) or could we still see April? :crying:

What honestly should I be expecting? UGH

You should get a April date I think :thumbs: just make sure you send in your stuff k :dance:

LOL.. yea I am also starting to wonder if I will have any use for this lap top of mine... also ... I often wonder if I can have a normal conversation with my husband :P I have been trying to start converstaions about the weather :rofl: its just not working out for me....

Come on March.. I think this will be our Month!!! Go Team NVC No RFE's or Fake RFE's <wink @ Sach>

what are possible reasons for an RFE on an AOS package? I mean we check our packets 2, 3 , 4 in my case half a dozen times... How does the NVC lose documents? How could we help them prevent it? I know that we have discussed folders to send in our documents in, and at the suggestion of other ppl we have been told that "fancy" folders would just be thrown away.. I like to be as prepared as I can.. just thinking if we could put our brains together and Maybe prevent any RFE's in the March thread...
