NVC March 2010 Edition!

Hello everyone! am joining the march nvc thread.. i just have a question, is the IIN for the AOS fee the same with the IV fee? i received an email that my ds3032 was accepted by nvc, however i haven't received the IV fee bill via email yet. I was just thinking if I can already pay the IV fee since it is already available online..or should I wait for the IV fee bill via email before I can proceed? thanks in advance.. Yes the IIN number is the same for both AOS and IV bill. If your DS-3032 is accepted you should be able to pay the IV bill by logging on to the website. No need to wait for the email. I got the IV fee bill email after I had already sent out the DS-230 package. Pay now and you will probably save 4-5 days.

So the case has to be complete by the beginning or by the end of second week? Say, if I send in my paperwork tomorrow overnight, would I get on the April bandwagon? I know someone who has their interview in Moscow on 03/15 and they were scheduled on 02/08, so I am assuming a similar timeline (around 30 days for an interview)

Also, does anybody know if appointments in Moscow only get scheduled during the first two weeks?

Anything is possible, but you also have to account for 8-10 days of review and minus any RFE (request for additional info/missing info, etc) We were all thinking the short month of February might have pushed things back a bit and perhaps some additional days for April interviews for those with packages complete in early March. One can only hope.. Good luck!

There is no accurate answer for that. But I have seen lot of second week approvals miss the cut off too. So earlier the better.

I'm expecting an RFE, I hurried through the 864 too much methinks! Stupid Mike!! ah well... I'll be expecting a may interview i guess :oP

What ya think you messed up on the 864? I know the feeling... My AOS was approved, maybe I can help you figure out if you should be worried?

I didn't send proof of the relationship between my wife and her mother and mother-in-laws letter of employment

Thanks Mike!!! Now it's just another waiting game for my husband to get here!!! At least this one will give me time to get things ready for him!!

Well, if you think you might get a RFE, just be prepared to have the things you left out on the 864 just in case they ask for it. When I got ours, I thought it was going to be 1 thing for sure and it ended up being something completely different so it took a whole month for me to get back on track!!

Same here, we were rushing to send off our package only to realize in the end that we failed to put NVC case number on the upper right corner of "every" page as instructed

Also, I'm deadly worried about the Police Certificate too, the original text is the photocopy of the original, not certified, only the translation is original. RFE may be on the way, though we're wishing and praying that we're not going to get one

Anyway, best of luck to you all, no RFE!
