Oh I just received a phone call from the Senators office stating they will be checking on my case with NVC (since I asked them for help before it was approved)

Maybe that will expedite it somehow. Won't hurt so why not. :dance:

It's Mumbai, so lets see.

My brother works for Sen. Udall here in Colorado! And I just thought of this.. emailing bro now.

Ats--Throw in a good word for all of us. "All those super organized and detailed packages? Yea--expedite them NOW."

For Mumbai, the general consensus seems to be that passports can be picked up on the same day at 4pm from the VFS office, if there is no AP. Otherwise, it will be mailed to your residence in 2 days via DHL.
