Nuh uh--It took them 5 business days to enter your packet in the system. Which means it's now on someone's desk and should be reviewed in a day or two. That's 7 business days. Barring any RFEs.

For example, my AOS was entered into the system on 22nd (even though the AVR had NO record of it for about two days after that) and the RFE was issued on the 24th. So if I hadn't been hit with that RFE, I'd have been case complete on the 24th.

TRUST ME. I've gone over about five hundred timelines.

I definitely hope so Sachi, I just didnt wanna be bummed because my expectation was too high...

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

Curious.

For those people whose interviews are all ready scheduled, how soon does you SO gets the Visa to come to US?

Update on hubby & I;

Waiting for the payments to say paid (hopefully tomorrow).

They (attorney) all ready have all my info to file the Affidavit of Support. All they need from me is the letter from my boss (which is easy & fast to get).

I should have all DS230 paperwork from hubby on March 15th.

Mine was received the 18th, but as of YESTERDAY, they still showed it as being logged in as "mail received" but not reviewed. Now, this AM, Im told it HAS been reviewed and all is ok. AOS that is. I was a little peeved yesterday thinking it was still in the mail dept. But I just dont know anymore.. I wish someone would put me out of my NVC misery.

Oh I just received a phone call from the Senators office stating they will be checking on my case with NVC (since I asked them for help before it was approved)

Maybe that will expedite it somehow. Won't hurt so why not.

Thanks vivekjay... I sure hope so. But from what I hear, thats one of the most important parts. funny thing is I was looking at one of our drafts, and there it was entered properly! It wasnt until we started a new draft to update the correct address of where he went to college. DUMB!!! I bet they would have over looked the college address error and we'd be fine. I hate that the DS230 doesnt save, and that you can only enter and print. I am kicking myself everytime I think of this dumb move on my part.

Hey, on the DS-230 on the section where it asks about visits to the U.S., she has two visits as exempt and 1 for a J-1, should we write "none" in the A-number section or leave it blank?

Thanks Vivek, I really hope I dont get an RFE because I didnt submit a PCC from the Police. Even though they did say it wasnt required if the passport was less than 6 months old. It was still less than 6 months old when I sent the 230 in, but not anymore. I hope they dont make an issue out of it and ask for the Police PCC, coz I dont have it!!

Wife's already applied for it, but the process hasnt started yet. She is still waiting for someone to come out and do the "field inquiry". And then it takes 7 days after that is done.

Fingers crossed here... X
