They wanted current bank statements from my husband's checking and savings accounts. No idea why. Our joint sponsor is more than fully qualified. Oh well. If only they process it quickly. The operator yesterday did tell my husband that there is a slight chance we might make it. They're trying to catch up on all the mail.

hmm that does sound kind of funny. Maybe they wanted to make sure you really needed a co-sponsor??? Oh well, Hopefully they will take care of everything and still give you a April interview :thumbs:

oh my - not food porn ! that's a poisonous mushroom!

ok - basic rules of food porn:

1. it must be something that you cooked.

2. it must be taken on yer camera

3. it must be edible, by humans.

4. no requirement to resemble male or female body parts

Usually, during CNY (Chinese New Year) - families join together at home, and cook for 3 days - its a lot of food, hence the 'food porn' moniker. If you need a break, and need to see more food porn, check out the first 5 minutes of movie 'Eat Drink Man Woman'. You might need to watch it a few times, that chef is mondo fast.

back on topic.

I wonder, for March 2009 now - if NVC will start making the 2 bills payable quickly, on the same day. someone else here 'had that condition' on the payment portal , but I'm wondering if it was like that because of

I think it may be because the DS 3032 was accepted. My husband received confirmation that they accepted his DS 3032 today. I check the payment portal and both AOS and IV were available for me to pay.

New Question:

AOS Line 23 My current indivial annual income is: The amount on the letter of employment, yes?

And:

Then will it matter that it's over my 2009 AGI by a few thousand?

Our Situation:

2009 AGI doesn't meet poverty guidelines by about $1,500. My letter of employment, however, puts me over the poverty guidelines. The discrepancy comes from my trip to see the husby last year. I'm thinking if Line 23 comes from the letter of employment, then I don't have to wait for the joint sponsor to get organized before sending the AOS packet. I can just bring her forms to the interview.

Bueno?

We sent an email in letter format on the 27th of Feb, using the format listed in one of the Wiki's. I do not remember which Wiki sorry, I have gone through so much stuff that I lose track where it is anymore. Point is, I called the NVC yesterday with a lot of questions, emailing the DS-3032 was one of them, and the agent told me that emailing was fine, but since they were shut down during the storm they are backed up and the emails are answered in the order they receive them.

Bueno?

If you put down your income based on your letter of employment, make sure that the letter has everything on there so they can verify by calling your employer. You need to make sure that it is on the company letter head with phone, fax numbers and mailing address. Also it will help by putting in the paycheck stubs for the past 6 months to show that you do make this amount of money. It should all be good then for them to verify that you do make above the poverty level.

Good luck~
