OMG. NVC, hurry up. They are now 5 business days behind with the mail? Seriously? GAH.

I think we all should start praying for interview scheduling to be extended for another week.

oh I like this idea...I am willing to give 200 bucks for this cause so if 10 of us can get 200 each...thats 2 grand...

lets mail in a cashier's check of $2,000 with all of our 10 barcoded cover sheet with a letter simply saying "SCHEDULE OUR INTERVIEWS IN APRIL"

LMAO!!!!! You know you're losing touch with VJ when the pages go from 8 ----> 40. No, I don't think I will catch up on the past 32 pages. However, I'm sure you'll be seeing much more of me when I get back to Aus.

Just passed over the half way point of my trip to California. Having a great time with the Wifey.

We were relaxing in the back of the car at Mt Baldy last night only to have the police roll up on us as we were getting ready to leave. So romantic hahaha

But, thats a story for another time, in another forum!!

And, by the looks of your signature, everything went well at the interview!? Congrats!!!!!

Just passed over the half way point of my trip to California. Having a great time with the Wifey.

We were relaxing in the back of the car at Mt Baldy last night only to have the police roll up on us as we were getting ready to leave. So romantic hahaha

But, thats a story for another time, in another forum!!

Backseat? seriously? I should try that sometime.

Meanwhile,I am gonna be "relaxing" by myself for a few more days... sigh(!)

At this point, I WILL pay for an April interview.

God, I hope we make it through. It'd be suck to be late because of one bank statement. Why can't they sort through their mail quickly and process stuff soon? GAH.

So, my husband called NVC yesterday and spoke to a nice agent. She told him about the time some guy, many years ago, tried to personally drop off a RFE at the NVC and wouldn't leave till they processed his case. He had to be escorted out by security. Don't know how true this is but I thought it was funny.

Sachinky~~what in the world did you get a RFE for??? I still don't understand that!!! What's up with all the RFEs??? You do know that it started with me.... Nobody before got one but it seems like EVERYONE is getting since then..

Hi! and Welcome to the March NVC thread. Do you have a case number yet? Best to start a timeline now. We can get you goin from that point. If you dont have a case number yet, call the NVC and get it. Next give them email addresses so you can get off the snail mail trail and receive communication via email. That is the first step!

Also, as you can see from a lot of our timelines, things move very quick. Mine entered the system First part of February, and Im pretty much complete (aside from my possible RFE )

Thank you for the warm welcome. We do have a case number and both the $70 and the $400 have been paid and are "IN PROGRESS" on the State Dept. site. I know this is going to most likely sound stupid but I have been updating the timeline on the side but I have been unable to get it to display like the rest of the members seem to be able too. Those tickers look pretty handy too.

They wanted current bank statements from my husband's checking and savings accounts. No idea why. Our joint sponsor is more than fully qualified. Oh well. If only they process it quickly. The operator yesterday did tell my husband that there is a slight chance we might make it. They're trying to catch up on all the mail.
