On hold for an operator for over half an hour now....

So now they told me that they received a package on 20th but they don't know what it is and it's in review....She also said that she will refer the case to supervisor and for me to call in drum beat.... 10-15 business days.... I think I'm going to go crazy......

they told me the same thing for my (DS-230) and after 2 days they already got it

Well, so much for March Can still sign in @ 9:30 on the east coast (i wasn't expecting it, just hoping). Big congrats to all of you who got through NVC this month!!

When we get a PCC, should it cover all time periods since the age of 16. The local commissioner's office gave us a PCC covering the dates when my wife lived since the time she got her passport. They did not cover 4 years since she turned 16 even though she lived at the same address.

No accordinf to the chennai embassy website, you only need a PCC from the regional passport office of where your wife lives IF your wife's passport was issued within the last 6 months (so let's say your wife's passport was issued last october, then she only needs PCC from the regional passport office). IF it is older than 6 mos, then from reginal passport office AND her local police stattion. in my case, my wife already got the PCC from her RPO in bangalore and that's what we sent in, as her passport was issued at the end of oct 2009. now given that in april 23rd, it'll be 6 mos+, we are planning to get a PCC from her local police stattion as well, just to be on the safe side. but for the NVC stage (just sent in the ds-230 package today), dont need to have 2.
