I had a little help. I knew a paralegal who read the contract I signed.

All we did was write a letter saying I no longer wanted his representation. My friend just looked things over for me and I basically did it.

We faxed and mailed a copy of the letter. Pretty easy!

Again, good luck. I know if I had found this site first, I never would have hired anyone to begin with!

Thats how I feel. If I would of found this site, I would of never get an attorney!

I'm glad that the RFE that we sent before we receive the RFE email did not cause us any trouble! I also emailed another copy of DS-230 after I recognized that I left one filed unfilled at page one (Q#9 Including current marriage, I have been married ____ times) ! It was entered in the system on the 26th , but it looks like they ignored it.

Oh dam Tat.. that's a good question. It might be a waste of time tho. I'd wait few days and maybe call on Friday to check to see if they located.

My honest opinion is to try not to. Give them a few days and save yourself going insane. Even if you would fail today,and didn't check it,it would still happen. So try to turn off everything about NVC in your head - I know,easier said then done - and just enjoy that beautiful daughter of yours!

Yeah, I guess I will give NVC a break today & will try tomorrow. But Friday hope to hear something. At least that they received my RFE & opened it.
