to be clear(er) - if lilib is actually opting in for NVC Electronic Processing (she can, she's to be interviewed in Guangzhou)

then she can't use the template.

She has to submit a SIGNED DS-3032 in PDF format, plus a specific subject header,

plus some specific data in the body of the email.

it's totally 'different' than just 'emailing in the email template' as part of ascii text in the body of an email.

NVC Electronic Processing is cool, but if she doesn't follow the directions, to the letter, she's gonna get stalled.

Stalled at NVC, sucks.

lilib - if yer reading this - hey !

remember - it's a parallel process, aye?

two major things for you to do -

1. pay on the online payment portal and

2. send off electronic versions of documents, in pdf format, to the special NVC email address.

For GUZ-bound petitions - it's BEST TO WAIT for 'sending in the I-864 and the DS-230' - until AFTER yer casefile number is converted from GUZ to GZO. You can still pay the AOS fee of 70 bucks, immediately, if you have received that 'DS-3032 kit' in yer email already.

If you don't have a DS-3032 kit in yer email - you won't be able to pay online at the portal.

I suggest (again) you reread http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...onic_Processing

and start making notes, on paper, for what to do. xie xie !

----

Darnell, thank you for your suggestion. I emailed DS-3032, of course PDF format to NVCElectronic this morning, hope get a response ASAP

And I will do what you suggested, payment stuff, etc.

Naturalization(N-400):
04/11/2013: N-400 Dallas,TX Lockbox

05/07/2013: Biometrics Appointment, USCIS St. Albans,VT

07/16/2013: Interview @ 3:00pm

08/05/2013: Oath Ceremony @ 2:00pm

So I have a question. I am talking to my hubby now & I told him he needs two Police Clearances from India. One from the local police statition & another from the passport office (right?).

Well, he worked/lived in Dubai for 3yrs & his last Passport (Indian) was issued from there. So he says he will have to get a Police Clearance from Dubai Passport office. Anyone deal with this & know what the right answer is. If it is Dubai office then it will take about 15 days :crying:

I have'nt gone through all the pages yet, so dont know if this has been answered. But he would have to get one from Dubai if he's been there for over 12 months, which he has. I know because my dad had to go through the same process. My dad actually had to make a visit to Dubai to get his fingerprints done there and only then did they issue a PCC....

Hope this helps

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

I just called the AVR again and it says that they "received" my DS-230 on the 2nd of March, when it was actually delivered on the 23rd of Feb. So they are exactly a week behind on the mailroom. I hope they can quickly go through and let me know if the PCC is in fact required to be sent in, since her passport is still less than 6 months old as of today. If they do request a PCC from the Police authorities, I think I'll be in the May interviews group....

Lets pray they dont. I do have a note in there saying I will produce it at the interview if requested. Sure hope they dont ask for it now.

Additionally, I don't know what a Passport Clearance Certificate is, all I have is her official Police Certificate, from the "Bundesamt for Justiz", included.

Thank you. I hope we both show "PAID" today.

Double check at the Reciprocity site (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciprocity/reciprocity_3567.html) but I didn't see anything about a Passport Clearnance for Germany. It's all country specific. Thailand doesn't use it, but India does.

Count me in too!

Our NVC case number assigned on February 24,2010, and we emailed NVCINQUIRY@state.gov for participating the Electronic Processing Program, but did not get any reply so far. We might need to talk to a NVC operator in person tomorrow morning

Good luck to all!

NVCInquiry won't process that email, IMO -

instead - have a read here?

OMG. NVC, hurry up. They are now 5 business days behind with the mail? Seriously? GAH.

I think we all should start praying for interview scheduling to be extended for another week.

And I think they started scheduling early also. Yesterday there were a few new April Interview dates on the Immigration timelines pages. So they either just got dates or people waited a month to post them.

Every day that goes by this week I am getting a big fat brick in my stomach.

SIGH

go team nvc. blah.
