Tatyana,I'm so so sorry to hear about your RFE. Stupid F***ing lawyer!!

Hopefully they'll accept it by e-mail and do it fast! Don't give up on a may-interview, we are all rooting for you!

Stay strong, which you clearly are, I'm not sure if I would have been able to cope with everything as good as you are. I'm very impressed by you! (F)

Tatyana--I do remember reading about a RFE submission being accepted via email.

Go ahead and do it NOW.

Would you advice to email or mail? I was thinking to call NVC & talk to a supervisor & see what he/she tells me.

It's the J1. Was given an email address by the operator where I can submit the paperwork in. Is it faster to email or mail? To early in the morning for me now to have any emotions but i am hella pissed & emailing my attorney now!!!

I know how it feels to receive RFE. My husband had only $1000.00 discrepancy reflected to his AOS and IRS. Correcting the error is easy. What makes it difficult is the waiting time. Its really depressing to wait for a simple mistake we made. If only we became careful, we could have a case complete earlier. We did not blame anyone for that mistake but instead comforted each other and believed that all things happen for a reason. Our patience was tested because of RFE.

If you will read the lists of SIF, it takes 6 to 12 days to have sif. Once the RFE is submitted, you can relax and wait for your sif. Dont despair. Time passes so fast. You will not notice it, your case is already completed. The smile of your baby and baby in your womb are your source of joy. Your VJ friends are your source of strength. God is your comforter.

M&ME - how do you know she passed? did they give the result to your wife? I thought result is sealed in an envelope.

They told her that everything looks great. Nothing to worry about. Of course they blood test results haven't come back, but I see no reason to worry about that. She even got her x-ray on a CD.

Morning everyone!

Tatyana, I'm so sorry to hear about your RFE, your lawyer should really know what he is doing... Paying someone to make it right and then finding out that you could have done it better is aweful. Hang in there, the good news is that you can email them RFE, so that will definetely save you some time.

On my end, no news, still can log in, AVR still says missing or incomplete information and that the mailed me a letter on 25th which I never got.....

Thank you! The AVR says that they sent a letter to me on the 30th also but I never received it. I though they email it but I guess it must be snail mail. So why confirm our email address each time we call.

I have the worst headache! I had like 3-4 hrs of sleep.

The Lawyers are so dumb. My cousin has been using a lawyer for her husbands case and she has been stuck in nvc for about a year and a half. they payed the lawyer more then $500 and whenever she calls the lawyers she says she is busy. The dumb lawyer says she sent in the DS-230 three times yet NVC has yet to get it. And she has not even sent the police certificate with it. I told my cousin you should just do it your self. Nobody cares about your case as much as YOU. but you can force someone to do something.

Well, the reason I am blaming my attorney is because he is being paid a tons of money and there should be no room for mistakes.

And yes I know he is human and ppl makes mistakes.

But yes, can't wait till this all resolves! Just really want hubby to have a May interview!

I think you should email it to them as soon as you can, and just to be on a safe side, also mail it.

I think with NVC you can never be too careful....And I would definitely have a small little chat with that lawyer of yours..... UGHHHHHH :bonk: like this process is not stressful enough, you also have to clean up your lawyer's mistakes....

Taty, NVC will email you with the RFE checklist. The AVR was saying they had emailed and I got it the next day afternoon.

Just get the papers together and overnight it to NVC.

Don't email and mail it. It may confuse them.... snail mail with the DS230 barcoded sheet and you will be fine.

(F)

Deal with your lawyer after you resolve this. Its not worth it to lose all your energy with him right now.

Best of luck dear!

Oh I would blame the lawyer too!! AND tell them that. You didn't pay out all this money to get a RFE. You could have done that on your own. I would be so pissed! I would tell everyone that I talk to in the office how unsatisfied you are with their service and you expect to compensated for the set back that you are experiencing because of their lack of better judgement of taking the paperwork when you first offered it.

UGH!! I cannot stand someone doing an extremely sloppy job of what they are trained to do!!:angry:

LOL! Yes, I have a very low tolerance for sloppy work!!!

I believe you have all the reason to blame him. If I am in your place I will do the same and will feel very mad. I will even terminate him and worst to hold him liable for his negligence. A simple mistake committed by a lawyer can cause life and future. I can forgive him but I cant continue to hire an incompetent lawyer. Practicing law profession is close to perfection.

Damage has already been done. Pouring your emotions can helunload your bad feelings. Just accept and move. Things may be worst now as it becomes better.

To prevent this mistake again, you may help double check the corrections and whatever forms that your lawyer will submitt. Time is the essence.

I just had my sif yesterday. I am sad to hear from NVC that interviews here for April in the Philippines is full. I might have a May interview. Maybe your love one might be able to have a May interview. Lets just hope and pray that our wishes will be fulfilled
