No updates for me neither :crying: AVR still has the same msg & can still sign in :crying:

I have already called AVR twice today.... Spoke to an operator once... checked payment portal many times....I believe since I'm being so productive, it should be taken into consideration at NVC. Still is a mystery to me though how they could say they have my package and then couple of days later inform me they are missing it...

They did assure me though that it's not lost :bonk: Cheers to being so desperate and pathetic that at this point even hearing news like this makes me want to hug the operator.

Kari - what's the stat on your stuff? Does the AVR reflect they have entered in your DS230 yet?

AVR says DS-230 was entered on Friday the 26th. I'm good. Evidence packs have been made. Husby sent me a surprise box of goodies weighing 7 kilos (about 15 pounds!). I'm waiting to receive that and make a copy of the to/from and postage showing the date before I send the evidence to Husby. I'm excited. They only way I know he sent me goodies is that he asked if it had arrived yet. :D Silly boy.

Hi guys If the Co told my hubby that everything was 100% but now we have AP. Are we still approved? Are is AP no longer Approved?

MQ, I think that you'll be fine. If everything was fine, then the AP is just to review the letter they requested from you. I don't know how your embassy works, but Bangkok usually takes 10 - 15 days to review the extra documents and issue an approval. Good luck!

Hi guys If the Co told my hubby that everything was 100% but now we have AP. Are we still approved? Are is AP no longer Approved?

I wish I could answer this. My thinking is that because of the additional issue surrounding it, it threw it in AP, but maybe its not the long dreaded AP that you fear. I just wish someone would give you some answers! how frusterating! :(

I have already called AVR twice today.... Spoke to an operator once... checked payment portal many times....I believe since I'm being so productive, it should be taken into consideration at NVC. ha ha! Seriously... its a long week ahead of us yule. I am gonna bunker down and try to remain sane.

Hello, everyone!

MQ, I'm sorry. That's horrible. I hope it goes by quickly.

Sachinky, can you bop him upside the head and make him see that it's not "unnecessary" at all. Especially those 2009 documents. Natalia's idea is great! And good job on e-mailing the embassy as opposed to having him call. Written word is always better; it's proof.

Kevin, when does AVR say they received your DS-230? Mine's saying they got it Friday.

Tharnsur, isn't New Year's fun?! I was hoping to spend it with Husby (really was hoping he'd have an interview right after the New Year), but that's not going to happen. Will you be traveling or doing anything special? We're having a few "festivals" with yummy food and dance shows. I like how it's going to be 2554 for Cambodia. This year, in Thailand, is 2553.

Keri - no plan for cambodian/thai/laos new year for me. I havent celebrate khmer new year for quite sometime since there arent alot of khmer here. I do have fond memories of new year during my stay (5 years) in Thailand. You should go to thailand during new year. You'll definitely have a great time. I do plan to visit my wife after new year so i can attend the interview with her. I'm still looking for tickets. At the moment it's ridiculously expensive. I guess due to the new year holiday. If you found any cheap tickets let me know:) By the way, khmer/thai/laos celebrate the same new year. This year of the tiger is 2554 in Buddhist calendar i guess my wife or SPSguy can correct me since my khmer knowledge is very limited.

Hope you have a LIF/SIF soon. I think it's almost that time now:)

Sorry to hear you got stuck in AP. I think that the actual AP designation comes from above the CO. I know that it is fairly common from MENA countries and you had the RFE that had to be reviewed so that might be the hold up... But hopefully it will be a quick one and they can clear him ASAP...
