Hmm, that is GOOD idea--I'm certain he will not have issues with that.

Is this possible? Really? I thought people couldn't mail things directly to the consulate--just by fax.

Or in the case of India, through VFS--which is sort of like a middle-man visa facilitating service.

I will definitely look into this tomorrow. Call as soon as the Consulate opens.

I can't find where I read it. But they said that it was ok for the co-sponsor to send the papers to the Embassy if they want to "protect" personal information (bank account, SSN, income and all that stuff that goes with the AOS package).

Call your visa center tomorrow and find out. I hope it will be ok

Thats a good idea Nat. Put the cosponsor at ease and get the docs there (needed or not)

Perfect! No need for a cue. Heads up, both go to seperate departments, so as they finish with your AOS package, they will more than likely issue you a false RFE indicating that they are waiting for the DS230. Strange little glich that freaks people out.

I also scanned both packages in their entirety and saved them as .pdf files, so if there is anything that they need, that isn't an original document, of course, all I have to do is attach it to an email to them.

It was also more convenient, because I put it all in Google docs & shared it with hubby, so all he has to do is just print off what he needs for the interview.
