FYI: If the OFFICIAL interview scheduling week is going to be held as 12-16 April, please be advised that only cases completed BY April 9, will be eligible for May scheduling.

Once past the cut-off date, you will have to wait till the next round of scheduling.

Of course, your interview date is dependent on your consulate's availability.

The Embassy Emailed me back. They said the visa cannot be Issued cuz its under administrative processing. IM so PISSED. They said it was not AP and that as soon as we send the Documents they would send the visa. Omg im so ANGRY! GOD knows how long we will be waitting now.

I cant wait to drive to chicago to pick him up. The whole family is going, it will be fun!

Why Chicago? Is that close to where your family is at? Or you don't want him to catch a connecting flight?

I thought about flying to NY to meet my husband and fly to Florida with him, but between recovering from going to Egypt and other unforseen cost, I can't afford it. Plus I want to take time off from work to get him acclimated to being here!

They Removed it. On the website it say only threw Email can i contact them. Ugh i Knew it that they would do this #######. Dose anyone know from research how long dose it last like just an estamte the least about and the longest it has taken?

When i try to call the number on that site it say Incorrect.

MQ--I'm really sorry to hear about the AP but honestly, it was to be expected given the region.

I always figured that extra documents asked for during the interview, will automatically throw the applicant into AP since it is issued under a 212g.

Good luck, stay strong. I hope it is a short AP.

Natalia--Your FIL is acting as the joint sponsor at the interview, right?

Did you figure out if he's using a I-864 or an I-864A?
