Aw, I realy hope they just call Monday and tell him to send the passport. So he can have the visa in hand this week so we can finish already. This Journey has sucked the like out of me ive lost like 10 pounds thanks to this lol.

Called the NVC today and they confirmed they received the case on the 25th. She said it is an "expedited case"....and that it will be sent to consulate in Dublin as soon as its processed. She would not give me case number over the phone but said that our receipt number would link us to the case. Question....is everyones case "expedited" or could it be because I contacted my congressman and senator, one of which "finally" got back to be and I had to fill out forms for them to inquire about our case......?? anyone had experience with this?

Your doing a K1 correct thats a fiance visa right? If so all of them go start the the embbasy after nvc they dont spend much time at nvc unlike the CR1.

I always thought the "EXPEDITED" process only for the U.S Armed forces... Din't know that you could expedite by calling your Senator/Congress men..

He has everything ready. And the trip on the airplane over there Sucked i threw up the WHOLE WAY! lol no joke i could not eat anything.

Oh no!! Were you sick or was it from motion sickness??? I found out that I have to take Dramamine on my first flight to Egypt. I was sooooooo nauseous from Fl to NY. So I found some medicine in one of the stores and made sure I took it before going to Egypt!

I'm sure getting hold of your congressman and senator probably did help push it through. With going the K1 visa route your case doesn't stay at the NVC. Your SO will deal directly with the US embassy in Dublin. No not everyone's visa journey is expedited.

I always thought the "EXPEDITED" process only for the U.S Armed forces... Din't know that you could expedite by calling your Senator/Congress men..

You can request an expidition for extreme measures. It's just not for the military. If you can prove a hardship they can take it in consideration. The most it can do is push up the date for the interview. Not necessarily give your SO his visa sooner. That is still up to the CO at the embassy.

Yah i started getting sick for nerves before i left but then i got even more iskc on the plane from my home town to chicago and when i went from chicago to jordan forget about it haha the whole time i had to keep going to the bath room to throw up haha. Its ok its over now. Now it will by my husband turn hehe.

I had a question if my husbands POE is Chicago does he have to stay there? cuz we were gonna drive to chicago from Mississppi and drive back to Mississippi from chicago that fine right?

No, once he lands, where ever his POE is, he can travel anywhere! It's just the legal documentation that he has entered the USA.
