Yup! You should get in about a week. Once you get that, you can access the payment portal on the gov website but entering your case number and the invoice number you will receive on the email they send. Then you can pay your AOS fee! Meanwhile, might as well get the docs together for your I-864 and DS230 so you can have them all ready to go and out the door once prompted to do so.

Ended up getting the email about 30min after talking to them & have all ready made a payment. I'm on a roll!

Got everything ready for my I-864 except a letter from my boss which is easy & I will get it tomorrow. Whoooohoooo.

Now only need my hubbys DS230 & remainder of the paperwork.

Tatyana--Congrats. Paying for your lawyer means you get to bypass the DS3032. Your lawyer is automatically designated as the agent. You will be receiving the bills in 3-5 days. Have your $470 ready and your documents ready to go, go, go as soon the payment clears in 1-2 days. Good luck, girl.

Ats--My DS230 was inputted into the system on the 18th and when I asked the operator yesterday to check thoroughly incase something else was missing, she said that everything was complete and accurate. They were just waiting for the bank statements to come in. I don't think there is an "acceptance or approval" for NVC -- it's under review and/or complete. I think the RFEs come in about 5 days after the packages go in, otherwise you're safe, I'd imagine.

You can look at my timeline to see how things progressed with a lawyer. I watched him like a hawk, and we did everything as soon as it was ready via email/electronic etc. I didn't want to be "just another of his clients", he laughs at my organization!

After looking at Gina's timeline, I think that's what she did. Sachi says she paid the IV bill before the invoice e-mail was sent to her and it was fine. And I just paid them both on the same day with a tiny glitch which I'm counting as me entering a number incorrectly.

The payment portal updates at 3PM and 10PM Eastern time. Keep checking after those times to see if the status went to PAID.

I've never seen any business have an issue with accepting money as quickly as they possibly can, and I can't see the NVC starting a new trend now.

Double and triple check your documents now. If it shows PAID at 10 tonight, then you can send them in morning. Woo Hoo!

well, I just send off the AOS and DS-230 package today. I also sent an expedite request since I was expedited through the USCIS. I guess all I can do is hope they will approve it...I figure the worst that could happen would that they would say no. I sent the packages express and according to the post office, they are guaranteed to be delivered by 3pm on thursday. I will believe it when I see it though because nothing gets mailed fast from Alaska.

O.o now im confused... they should have sent you an email that has a barcode on it ....

or atleast that is what I sent in, was the one they sent me. I printed it, signed it, scanned it and put it in pdf form..

hmmm, I think you are right, we should send NVC the DS-3032 with barcode strip one that they sent to us, but here is China, god knows how many days the form will deliver, so I will print the form which I found from NVC website, sign it, scan it, put it in PDF, and email it to NVCElectronic@state.gov. I do hope it works, anyway

Or, my hubby already got the DS-3032 with barcode strip one, we just missed it? at least there is nothing in his mailbox yesterday. OMG, I am really really confused, who will get the DS-3032, me or my hubby?

why dont you just use the template from VJ and then email that one it... just make sure it is from the benificary's email... they accepted ours in 3 days

Ok, they finally received and accepted the DS-3032 via email. I believe it was delayed due to the down day on Friday from the storm. But NVC received the AOS payment on 2/23 and still no I-864 email. Wouldn't you know that I DID get the IV bill email today. Go figure I get the one that wants the money first! LOL! I have been trying since last night to talk to a human being so I can figure out what happened to the I-864. I plan on paying the IV bill next week and then would like to get my end of the paperwork done ASAP while I wait for my husband's paperwork. I can't believe we're getting close...after all that waiting it just feels like a blur now. I am grateful that spring break is coming up so I can get all this taken care of because with my work schedule right now it has been downright stressful at times trying to get this all sorted out. And right now I just want a living person to pick up the phone at NVC!!!!

Grrrrrr! My cell phone battery died from being on hold so much the past two days and still I haven't talked to anyone. I guess I'll just have to wait until it charges up but I hope I can catch someone before they close tonight. I tell ya, one day off and all of the sudden you can't get anyone. Thanks Bears I had my wife send me (via DHL) her police certificate and DS-230 yesterday. I already have all the other documents. I ordered tax transcripts last month. After I get those docs from her, I should be all set. I've gone over LingChe's shortcut a million times and have all the documents gathered so I PRAY this will go smoothly!!

Good Kevin. I started gather everything in January because of Ling Che's guide. I got my transcripts too. I just need to wait on my husband to send me is document for the IV package then I'll be Golden and ready to send everything.
