But mine already was saying that they received the biographic forms and are reviewing it and now it says missing... and then they will update back to the previous message? I'm sooo confused....

I had the exact sequence of steps happen. I went from Waiting for biographic ----> Received Biographic ----------> Biograpic vanished (False RFE)-------> Case Complete.

It was never updated back to Biograpic recieved again after the false RFE. It went straight to Case complete from missing documents. However I was able to confirm with an operator a few days later after I got the false RFE that they indeed had the my packet.

You should be fine.

hey Kari..nothing here at work the day kind of slow for today... I am praying and burning some candles my husband TODAY just find out a tiny mistake in his 2009 taxes I PRAY that NVC does not noticed this ...He already make the correction and will have it ready in case that they bump us with another RFE for that...sometimes I want to kill him...I told him DO NOT SEND THE 2009 taxes if they dont request it...so in the hurry he did not realized it.. the mistake is in his social security number one number wrong.. hopefully they will get dizzy with the other taxes he sent taxes for the last 5 years..Oh God..please help me..

When NVC emails you, do they email the petitioner or the beneficiary?

P.S. they have my email, hubbys & attorneys.

I wish there was a reliable way to check the status of your case and be sure of it ) I definetely hope that everything will get back to normal, it's just frustrating to be questioning everything all the time - Even after speaking with the operator I keep thinking "did he know what he was talking about?" should I verify with another operator? Ughhhhhh

The only reliable way to check the status of your case my dear Yule is to throw all reason and all that is good in this world (i.e. warm puppies, easy money, marshmallows, beer) in the rubbish and think like an NVC employee. In other words, there is no such word as reliable. The only thing to rely upon is the fact that our very lives are at the hands of people whose only function is to attach meaningless explanations to our questions. People who, if my intelligence serves me justice, are married (if anyone will have them) and already have their little comfy cozy lives waiting for them in their suburbian abodes in NH. They know nothing of the trials and tribulations we go thru and the pain of being away from our loved ones. Rely only on the fact that if there is a God.. and I do believe there is, that our painful prison-like sentence we must serve with this horrible place will be short-lived and a brighter day awaits us all.
