I believe ur's is chennai consulate right....Why is taking such a long time to schedule the interview date for you....Is this a normal trend in Chennai Consulate.....Chennai is the consulate for me too....

I am not very sure about the regular trend for Chennai Consulate. But for April interviews I saw the interview dates started trickling in for Chennai from the 1st of March.

02-09-2007 : Marriage

I-130 Stage (Filed while I was on Green card)

California Service Center

06-11-2007 : I-130 Sent

08-04-2009 : I-130 Approved

NVC Stage

09-04-2009 : NVC Received

09-08-2009 : NVC case# assigned (Waiting game begins to Upgrade my case to IR-1)

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Chennai Consulate Stage

05-01-2010: Medical

05-04-2010: Interview Approved!!!!!!

05-21-2010: POE at San Francisco

06-21-2010: Received GC in mail

So Packet 4 (P4) is indeed the appointment letter/email, if anyone was still wondering.

My presumed date of POE is 05/17. Looking for tickets now.

I'm so excited, I can barely contain myself. :dance:

01-30-2010: Emailed DS3032 in letter format.

02-01-2010: Email addresses given to NVC operator.

02-05-2010: AOS/DS3032 emails received from NVC / DS 3032 resent.

02-06-2010: AOS $70 bill paid. IN-PROCESS.

02-08-2010: DS3032 hardcopy mailed.

02-09-2010: DS3032 accepted / AOS bill shows as PAID / IV bill generated and paid.

02-10-2010: IV bill shows as PAID.

02-11-2010: DS230 package sent to NVC.

02-12-2010: DS230 delivered to NVC.

02-17-2010: AOS package overnighted to NVC.

02-18-2010: DS230 inputted into the AVR/ AOS package delivered to NVC.

02-22-2010: AOS in the system according to operator.

02-24-2010: AVR says "missing or incomplete information on AOS."

03-01-2010: RFE response mailed out according to LingChe guides.

03-02-2010: RFE response delivered to NVC at 10:17 AM/ RFE email checklist received.

congratulations.! sachinky and melodie for your interview dates,my line of action is that wife will call nvc on wednesday so by then nvc will be having our case,will acquire the case number,update our email ids.If the entire nvc process goes smoothly without an RFE i will be expecting an interview date in june(or should i think about july as its hard to think hehehe)

Ha! I would of guessed The Mumbai Consulate hehehehe... Cuz the super nice email that the NVC just sent me last night gave me all of the info for the Delhi Consulate and basically told me, to never contact them again or they would have a restraining order in place for me, that all my information had been sent to the US Embassy in Delhi, and if I had any questions or felt the need to pester anyone else that I should contact them... and they were soo nice and gave me all there info along with told me how to do it :D
