The police thing from the city commisioners office took 3-4 days. and passport office one took her 7-10 days cuz her passport has been issued recntly(less than a year ago)

Chintu,

How did y'all get the PCC from the Hyd. Commissioner's office?? We tried and they want to see a letter from the consulate. Your advice is appreciated.

We need some good news around here!

So I called and spoke to an operator who confirmed that my AOS package has been reviewed and it's good :thumbs: One less package to worry about.... He also said to expect a DS-230 email reminder to send it in. I said but AVR says you have it... He said then it means it's in the system but it's not showing up here so we'll send you an email and you ignore it.

USCIS Journey

I-130 Sent: 12/08/2009

I-130 NOA1: 12/14/2009

I-130 NOA2: 02/26/2010

I-130 Approved in 74 days

NVC Journey

03-04-2010: NVC Case # assigned

04-03-2010: Case Complete per AVR

NVC Complete in 31 days

04-10-2010: Medical Exam Scheduled

04-13-2010: Medical Passed

Rian--So no LIF for you yet? Have you spoken to an operator? Check the AVR at least.

Once you pay your DS-230 bill, NVC will E-mail you saying that you need to send the DS-230..print that out and take it to the police.

04-12-2010: Interview date assigned by NVC.
05-11-2010: Medical appointment in Rio

05-13-2010: Interview in Rio - APPROVED!!!

06-02-2010: POE in Washington DC - Finally home!

July 30, 2010 - Received the Green Card after receiving 4 welcome letters! USCIS see ya later!

2 YEARS LATER......

03-02-2012: Elegible to lift conditions
06-02-2012: Temporary GC expires

12-20-2012: Permanent GC received

6 MONTHS LATER......

Just spoke to the operator too (nice lady, didn't catch her name). Paperwork is still in review. I guess that's not too bad for now. As long as I don't hear the word "RFE", I'm happy!

Once you pay your DS-230 bill, NVC will E-mail you saying that you need to send the DS-230..print that out and take it to the police.

I got out of my bed, getting ready to swing into action. I turned the laptop back on, cursing the slow broadband connection that takes forever to connect and muttering all sorts of things regarding medical examinations and airline tickets under my breath as I logged into my hotmail account. Two emails marked "Packet (Family)" made my heart lurch. This is IT, I thought, happily.

Quickly, I opened the PDF files to find instructions on how to send our AOS packet in with a barcoded coversheet. Dated 03/24.

Aw Lordy, you're killing me.

Met: 5/18/07

Married: 2/7/08

I-130 mailed: 3/11/08

NOA 1: 4/22/08

NOA 2: 7/11/09

Received by NVC 8/12/09

DS 3032 submitted: 11/16/09

Paid I-864 Bill: 11/18/09

Paid IV Bill: 11/19/09

Mailed I-864: 11/20/09

Mailed DS-230: 1/12/10

RFE: 1/26/10

All Materials Received by NVC: 2/16/10

Case Complete @ NVC: 3/1/10

Interview Assigned: 4/15/10
