HA I FRICKEN KNEW IT!!! After that operator told me yesterday to take a leap and not call back until April 16th, I talked to a really nice operator today and Tina's interview is May 3rd. At least we have a date. Now I'm calling on Tuesday to the embassy to try to reschedule it sooner. :thumbs: Worst they can say is "no".

I wanna call and bug an operator again.

I even have the perfect excuse. I can act all dumb and confused--"Uh, so I was told my case was completed but I just received a checklist for my AOS package? What does this meeeean? Nevermind, btw, have you scheduled our interview date yet 'cause Matt just got his!" :D

haha - just keep calling!! they'll give you a date if you keep trying. :)

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Holy Jeebus! NVC needs to stop already. Or just get their act together. I just got an e-mail with the checklist requesting the DS-230. Made me all sorts of happy and scared at the same time while waiting for the PDF to load. Then I read it and went from unsure.gif to blink.gif to WTH?!?! mad.gif

Melody, I like your story, too! I can't imagine the thoughts going through your mind while you waited. I'm happy it wasn't the way you thought.
